Who Am I?

Hi! I'm Shrey Patel, a fourth-year Computer Engineering student at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I grew up in Toronto, Canada, where my early fascination in physics and breaking apart electronics developed a stark passion for technology. That early curiosity led me to pursue computer engineering, where hardware meets software in the most fascinating ways.

At Georgia Tech, I'm concentrating in Robotics & Autonomous Systems and Distributed Systems & Software Design. My coursework spans everything from digital logic design and embedded systems to data structures and operating systems. I'm particularly drawn to making systems that move and complete physical tasks, and I'm always looking for ways to apply classroom concepts to real engineering challenges.

I dedicate a lot of my out-of-classroom time to work on personal engineering projects. For example, I am currently developing a quadcopter with a custom remote controller from scratch. In my free time I enjoy playing baseball, let me know if you ever want to play catch! I believe that the best engineers are well-rounded people, and I try to bring creativity and curiosity to everything I do.
